The value of data is not in storing it, but in knowing how to use it

We live in an era where everything is recorded as data.
In the agri-food sector, we constantly generate information: field activity, sensors, staff reports, irrigation data, sales records, traceability, and more.
But… what do we really do with all this information?

Often, data exists but remains disconnected — stored in ERPs, CRMs, or scattered documents.
In the end, due to lack of time, tools, or structure, it isn’t properly used.
Only a small fraction of the information is leveraged, while the rest is forgotten.

This leads to a great loss of value.
Having data without knowing how to use it is like owning expensive machinery that sits idle in storage.
