AGERROBOT

AGERROBOT

AGERROBOT is built around three complementary technological pillars:

1. Automated data collection through robotics

2. Data integration and prediction using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

3.An AI-based agricultural management support tool

First, the project plans to deploy autonomous or semi-autonomous ground robots and drones equipped with cameras and sensors capable of navigating fruit and vegetable fields and collecting real-time data, incorporating Agerpix’s OnFruit solution.Second, the large volume of information generated by the robots will be processed by an AI algorithm. This will combine field data with other relevant sources, such as information, historical production data, and soil analysis, and integrate the results with Agerpix’s AICrop tool. Finally, the AI-generated results will be presented through an intuitive digital platform that serves as an agricultural management support tool: Agerpix’s AICrop Mini. It will be a comprehensive and versatile tool that can be accessed from any mobile device.

Through AGERROBOT, Agerpix aims to address the sector’s main challenges: the shortage of skilled labor, climate variability, the need for more sustainable resource management, and the digital divide in rural areas. The project also includes an extensive dissemination plan, featuring scientific publications, an open-access data repository, a free version of AICrop Mini, and technical workshops open to farmers and cooperatives.

Funding

AGERROBOT is a project led by Agerpix Technologies with the support of Red.es and co-funded by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
