Another year, Fruit Attraction has once again become a major meeting point for the fresh produce industry, and for Agerpix, it has been an especially valuable event. Now that the exhibition has come to an end, we’re looking back on our time at the show.
If there is one word that sums up our experience, it is intensity. Our stand welcomed a large number of visitors and, above all, we held some very productive meetings with customers and other industry stakeholders, giving us the opportunity to showcase our technologies first-hand, as the company’s CEO, David Francés, explains.
Fruit Attraction is also a global showcase, and this year we were pleased to welcome Antonio Gómez, our Country Manager in Peru. His visit to the exhibition reinforces our commitment to international expansion and helps us bring the needs of growers in other markets closer to the work we do from Spain, in an industry where innovation knows no borders.
Disruptive technologies driving productivity
Computer vision and artificial intelligence were prominent features across the exhibition, and at Agerpix, we have applied these technologies to a very specific goal: productivity. Innovation for its own sake is not the objective. Our aim is to provide solutions that help growers improve production and make better-informed decisions.
The response has been very positive. And understandably so: the agricultural sector is highly competitive and faces a significant need to optimise its operations. Digitalisation and data are essential to meeting this challenge. As our CEO puts it, the sector “needs a great deal of digitalisation and data to make better decisions”.
An ecosystem embracing innovation
Another clear takeaway is that more and more companies are making a strong commitment to integrating new technologies into their solutions for the agricultural sector. Seeing this momentum around us confirms that the digital transformation of agriculture is no longer a promise for the future, but an ongoing reality — and that we are moving in the right direction.
Listening to growers to keep innovating
Beyond showcasing what we do, the exhibition is an invaluable opportunity to listen. The conversations we had allowed us to learn about our customers’ evolving needs and gain a better understanding of the challenges growers face in their day-to-day work.
This knowledge provides the starting point for our roadmap: continuing to develop new products and solutions that address the sector’s real-world challenges.
Reconnecting with partners and showcasing quadruped robotics
Fruit Attraction has also given us the opportunity to reconnect with our partners and share our latest progress. We met with Moyca Grapes, an Agerpix Technologies partner in the PREVID project, to review the work we are carrying out together, and with CAR (CSIC-UPM), with whom we collaborate on Fructhor-IA.
Among the technologies on display, one attraction drew particular attention: our quadruped robot, one of the key technologies featured in PREVID, which generated considerable excitement among visitors. Beyond the initial curiosity, its presence gave us an opportunity to discuss what really matters: how robotics can be deployed in agriculture to introduce new capabilities and generate valuable data to support decision-making.
We also took part in this conversation beyond our stand. Our CEO, David Francés, joined a roundtable organised by MULA to discuss the role of technology in transforming the fresh produce sector.
And now, back to work
We leave Fruit Attraction 2026 with valuable new contacts, fresh ideas and confirmation that there is genuine demand for technology applied to agriculture. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand. What we have learned over these past few days is already helping shape our next steps.
See you next time!
