Agerpix Technologies Participates in the Ibero-American Forum on Digital Agri-Tech and Smart Irrigation

A meeting to share knowledge, identify opportunities, and continue advancing the digital transformation of the agri-food sector

Agerpix Technologies recently participated in the Ibero-American Forum on Digital Agri-Tech and Smart Irrigation, an initiative aimed at promoting knowledge exchange and the digital transformation of the agri-food sector. Over the course of three days, the event focused on technology as a driver of innovation, addressing the Spanish model of agricultural modernization, cooperation between Spain and Latin America, as well as the dissemination of advanced solutions in smart irrigation, precision agriculture, and digital livestock farming.

The Soria-based company was one of the 37 Spanish companies taking part in the event as a technology company integrated into the precision agriculture innovation ecosystem. Beyond the presentations and panel discussions, the forum provided an opportunity to engage with companies, professionals, and organizations involved in the digitalization of the sector, learn about new initiatives, and explore potential avenues for collaboration.

For Agerpix Technologies, one of the key benefits of the event was precisely the opportunity to connect with other companies in the agrotech ecosystem, learn about complementary solutions, and exchange perspectives on the direction in which the sector is evolving.

At a time when digitalization, artificial intelligence, and precision agriculture are transforming farming, events like this provide an opportunity to share experiences and identify needs that can lead to new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

Organized by Fundación Cajamar together with Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, ICEX, AMETIC, AERYD, and AEDyR, the forum brought together 150 participants, including Spanish and Ibero-American companies, Spanish organizations from the agrotechnology sector, and representatives from the scientific, innovation, and knowledge-transfer communities in Spain. The event was held as a prelude to the 12th Ibero-American Ministerial Conference on Agriculture and Fisheries, which will take place on September 24 and 25 in Córdoba.
