The company, which recently opened its first subsidiary in Peru, will showcase one of its new solutions in the Innovation Hub area, open to all candidates for the Innovation Hub Awards. In 2024, the company won the award with its AICrop product
Agerpix Technologies will take part in Fruit Attraction 2026, the leading international event for the fresh produce sector, which will be held from 6 to 8 October at IFEMA Madrid. The Soria-based technology company will once again be part of this global showcase to present its latest innovations in precision agriculture. Over the three-day event, visitors will be able to visit the Agerpix Technologies stand (5C15) in Hall 5 Innova & Tech and discover all of its solutions.
In parallel, the company will showcase its new product VIA, an inline machine vision system, in the Innovation Hub area. This space features innovative products submitted to the Innovation Hub Awards in the F&V Industry category for Best Technological Solution. It is worth remembering that two editions ago, the company won this award with its AICrop product.
The theme chosen for the 18th edition of Fruit Attraction is Where the essence of the industry connects with the world. The event organizers expect more than 2,500 companies to participate across 162,000 square metres, further consolidating its position as one of the sector’s leading international events. Agerpix Technologies, which recently opened its first subsidiary in Latin America, Agerpix Peru, will share the event with 121,000 professionals from 150 countries to promote innovation and create new opportunities for knowledge exchange.
“Being present at Fruit Attraction means being part of one of the sector’s major international events and, above all, sharing solutions that are helping to transform the fresh produce industry. Our participation allows us to showcase the potential of precision agriculture and how data can enable more efficient decision-making,” says David Francés, CEO of Agerpix Technologies.
This year, the company’s chief executive adds, “we are taking another step forward by presenting one of our solutions for the Innovation Hub Awards, highlighting a technology designed to address the challenges facing today’s and tomorrow’s agri-food industry.”
Specifically, VIA is an inline machine vision system. Using non-intrusive cameras and facial anonymization, with no video storage, it can measure the performance of the packing line and each workstation every second. It requires no sensors and does not interrupt the packing line.
In addition to VIA, Agerpix Technologies will bring to Fruit Attraction 2026 solutions designed to transform the data generated in the field and across fresh produce companies into useful information for decision-making. The technology company will demonstrate how combining data analytics, digitalization, and artificial intelligence enables processes and resources to be managed more precisely and optimized to help create a more efficient, profitable, and sustainable agri-food industry.
Technology at the service of agriculture
In an increasingly digitalized society, the fresh produce sector is no stranger to innovation. The adoption of technologies such as data analytics, sensor technology, and artificial intelligence is enabling a shift towards production models that can use resources more efficiently and respond to current challenges, such as growing demand for food and climate change.
Agerpix Technologies’ participation in Fruit Attraction is part of this transformation. The event provides an opportunity to continue strengthening relationships across the fresh produce sector and to demonstrate the role technology can play in building a smarter, more competitive, and more sustainable agri-food industry.
